Well, it's been a while! Where have you been?? Jk, totally my fault.
My last blog post was in October, 2022. Then my soul dog, Raphael, died in November, and I just haven't felt like blogging since then. So, sorry I've left you hanging!
As you may know, 2022 was the year we lost 3 dogs...
My mother's dog,Taffy (that Zak and Alice cared for in the last few years of her life), died in February
My sweet princess Lucy died in March, days after she turned 13. Here she is singing along with the National Anthem!
And my best friend/love of my life Raphael died in November.
People keep asking if we'll get another dog, but my heart is still so broken that I just can't imagine putting myself through that again any time soon. Maybe some day...
Otherwise, it's been pretty low key around here. I've been overfilling my time with work and hanging with friends because there is no more rush to get home and let a dog outside. So when I'm not crying, I'm literally, constantly moving so that I don't start crying again! It's quite the juggling act.
There's been some traveling. Steve and I went to Albuquerque and Santa Fe, New Mexico in March. What a lovely place! We had a great time and hope to go back some time!
There's been more true crime, too. I was invited to do a Master Chat for the UWM Alumni Association.
But probably the biggest news is the end of The SH*T That Happens to Me Podcast! I'm just full of good news today, aren't I?
After 3 years and 80 episodes, I feel like the podcast has run its course. I've had so much fun, and loved every minute of the process! I hope you have enjoyed it as much as I have!
What does the future hold, you ask?

More travel! Steve and I are going on an Alaskan Cruise in July! I cannot wait!
